Clinical Psychologist – Mental Health Consultant (Full‑time, Day Shift)

Position located at the Dwight

D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center Primary Care Mental Health (Family Medicine Department) in Fort Gordon, Georgia.

Salary Range:
Up to $138,370 per year.

• Provide targeted, evidence‑based assessments and interventions in brief 30‑minute appointments for a wide range of behavioral, chronic medical, and health conditions.
• Act as a core member of the Primary Care team: participate in daily huddles, facilitate warm handoffs from providers, and offer expert consultation on patient care.
• Develop, teach, and oversee health education classes for patients; provide training to primary care staff to enhance the integration of behavioral health services.
• Utilize a stepped‑care approach to maximize patient access, monitor treatment effectiveness with measurable outcomes, and ensure timely, concise documentation.

• US citizenship required.
• Must have practiced as a licensed independent practitioner within the past two years.
• Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology.
• Current, active, valid, and unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently from a U.S. State, the District of Columbia, Commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction.
• Completed an APA‑accredited doctoral graduate program and an APA‑accredited predoctoral internship.
