We are seeking a Substance Use Disorder Counselor to provide high-quality counseling, education, and case management services for individuals working toward recovery. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.
Position Details

Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, plus on-call one week per monthand one Saturday per month
Location:
Cuthbert, GA 39840
Reports To:
Program Director
What You’ll Do
- Conducting screenings, intakes, and orientations
- Providing and documenting individual and group education sessions
- Delivering case management and clinical documentation in a timely and accurate manner
- Participating in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings
- Supporting individuals using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and 12-Step facilitation
- Connecting clients with community resources and ongoing supports
- Serving as a positive role modelfor recovery and healthy living
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC I or II)
- OR a comparable combination of education, certification, training, and experience
- Three (3) years of experience working with individuals with substance use disorders
- Specialized training in addiction services
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of counseling theories, case management, and recovery-oriented practices
- Proficiency with basic computer software and online applications
- Valid Georgia driver’s license and ability to meet vehicle insurance requirements
Additional Requirements:
- If in recovery, a minimum of two (2) years of continuous sobriety is required
