Join our team at Intellistars ABA, where we provide ABA care that lives where the child does. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. As an RBT, you will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavior intervention plans for clients, primarily focusing on children with developmental disabilities.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a registered behavior technician (RBT) to work with children with developmental disabilities, providing individualized behavior intervention plans and implementing behavioral strategies to support their growth and development. This is a part-time position, working Monday to Friday with occasional weekends as needed.
Responsibilities- Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising BCBA
- Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress towards goals
- Assist in developing care plans tailored to individual needs
- Educate clients and their families about behavioral strategies and interventions
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with other professionals involved in the client's care to ensure a cohesive approach
- Provide support during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and encouraging environment for clients
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in behavioral therapy
- Registered Behavior Technician certification
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly children
- Strong data collection skills to monitor client progress effectively
- Ability to educate clients and families about behavior management techniques
- Proficient in creating and maintaining detailed medical records and care plans
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate collaboration with team members and families
