CT Technologist PRN

This role involves providing safe, age-appropriate imaging services through a variety of diagnostic procedures, including CT and radiography, while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy.

Responsibilities include verifying clinician orders, obtaining clinical histories, administering contrast media, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring high-quality image production.

Technicians must demonstrate independent judgment, proficiency in equipment setup, patient positioning, and radiation safety, while adhering to infection control and quality standards.

Effective communication with patients, families, and staff is essential for explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications include an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, BLS certification, and at least one year of radiology experience, with preference for CT experience.

Key skills encompass strong communication, multitasking, attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to operate all departmental workstations.

Additional duties may include departmental support, maintaining equipment, and participating in quality control measures.
