Radiologic Technologist / CT Tech
Position Overview
The CT Technologist applies expertise to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience in a collaborative healthcare environment. Responsibilities include performing CT procedures, operating imaging equipment safely, maintaining infection control, obtaining clinical histories, explaining procedures using AIDET, ensuring patient comfort and safety, administering contrast, positioning patients, reviewing images, and completing documentation accurately in RIS/PACS systems. They respond to emergencies, maintain equipment, organize workflows, support operational compliance, and assist with patient transport and clerical tasks.
Qualificationsand Skills
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, complete an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and possess at least 1 year of radiology experience. Certifications required include ARRT - R (Radiography), ARRT - CT, and BLS from the American Heart Association. Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, patient communication skills, and the ability to work independently are essential.
