PRN CT Technologist

This role involves performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily in radiology and computed tomography (CT), to support patient care. It requires flexibility in work hours, dependability, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Verifying orders, obtaining clinical histories, preparing patients, operating imaging equipment, ensuring safety protocols, and maintaining equipment.
• Producing high-quality images, following infection control standards, and assisting in emergency situations.
• Effective communication with patients, families, and staff is essential, along with providing patient education and ensuring privacy and comfort.
• Additional responsibilities involve equipment maintenance, quality control, and supporting departmental operations to ensure efficient, safe, and effective imaging services.

• Accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, BLS certification, and at least one year of radiology experience, with a preference for CT experience.

• Excellent communication, customer service, the ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, and proficiency in all aspects of CT imaging, including patient positioning and radiation safety.
