Physical Therapist

This role involves evaluating and treating patients primarily in rehab and LTAC hospital settings, with responsibilities including conducting initial and discharge assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, documenting progress in the EMR, and educating patients, families, and staff. The position requires effective communication with team members, outside physicians, and vendors, as well as managing equipment orders. Additionally, the role includes participating in interdisciplinary team meetings, serving as a mentor for interns, and contributing to skills checks.

Qualifications include: a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (Doctoral preferred), valid BLS certification, and a GA Physical Therapy license or eligibility.

Experience needed: at least one year in rehab, SNF, LTACH, or acute care settings.

Skills required: basic computer literacy.
