PRN technologist to cover mammography and bone density. Mammography Technologist, PRN with Good Samaritan Hospital in Greensboro, GA Position
Purpose:
Mammography Technologist PRN position with Good Samaritan Hospital in Greensboro, GA
- Perform ordered mammography examinations in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols of the radiologists.
- Maintains technical competency through continued education.
- Performs equipment quality checks and troubleshoots problems and calls for service and notifies all pertinent team members.
- Follows quality assurance guidelines and maintains patient confidentiality.
- Enters patient’s questionnaire, release form, and all other paperwork into Epic system.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). - Advanced registry in mammography required.
- Continuing education credits in Mammography required.
- Education:
Graduate of formal radiographic technology training in an AMA-approved school - Experience:
Two years mammography experience preferred.
