Grille House Host

Champions Retreat Golf Club | Evans, GA

Champions Retreat Golf Club is seeking Grille House Hosts to join our Food & Beverage team. This role is perfect for friendly, organized, and hospitality-driven individuals who enjoy being the first point of contact for members and guests while helping orchestrate a smooth, well-paced dining experience in our clubhouse Grille House.

Position Overview

As a Grille House Host, you set the tone for the guest experience from the moment members and guests arrive. You will manage the flow of the dining room, communicate effectively with servers and leadership, and ensure each guest is welcomed, seated, and cared for with warmth and professionalism. This role plays a critical part in the overall rhythm, pacing, and organization of service.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome members and guests in a warm, professional, and polished manner
• Manage waitlists, reservations, and table flow to ensure balanced service and pacing
• Communicate table assignments and guest information clearly to servers and managers
• Inform servers of any special billing requirements for cottage guests or hosted accounts to ensure accurate and seamless check handling
• Support accurate guest recognition, special requests, and service notes
• Assist in coordinating large parties, member groups, and peak service periods
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entry areas
• Support service recovery by communicating guest needs or concerns to leadership
• Uphold Champions Retreat service standards and hospitality culture

What You Bring

• Friendly, confident, and professional presence
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail, especially with reservations, guest notes, and billing instructions
• Willingness to learn systems, service standards, and floor operations
• Prior host, front desk, or customer service experience preferred (but not required)
• Availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
