Catering Sales Coordinator

The Catering Conference Service Manager is responsible for the selling of all group bookings along with some social/wedding events when assigned by DOC.

• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
• Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment.
• Anticipate guests needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests.
• Always maintain positive guest and employee relations.
• Familiarization with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquires accurately.
• Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
• Maintain knowledge of:
  • Assigned scheduled group functions, times, locations and requirements.
  • Location of all hotel function space and function room capacities and name of rooms.
  • All styles of meeting and banquet room settings.
  • Function room features‑lighting, sound system, telephone capabilities, etc.
  • Menu pricing, guarantee policies, payment policies, room rental charges, service charges, shipping and receiving charges.
  • Shipping and receiving policies, outside vendor services.
  • Banquet service standards.
  • General working knowledge of all departments in the hotel to ensure successful planning and implementation of conventions.
• Effectively handle multiple events.
