Job DescriptionThe Human Resources Generalist at Jasper Memorial Hospital in Monticello, GA will assist with daily HR responsibilities as well as projects including but not limited to recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding, benefits, personnel relations, and other duties as requested.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities- Maintains employee information in HRIS systems and other areas as needed
- Ensure employee licenses, liability insurance, certifications, employee health requirements, and other time sensitive items are renewed timely to maintain compliance
- Oversees performance review process for all employees informing leadership of opportunities for improvement as needed.
- Oversees employee engagement surveys and initiatives working closely with leadership
- Oversees offboarding process for the company ensuring that all necessary documents are received, approved, and coordinate within appropriate timelines.
- Oversees employee relations concerns. Works with employees, leadership, and other staff to reach and implement the most appropriate solutions
- Oversees 401(k) recordkeeping system. Performs regular audits of 401(k) eligibility, enrollment, and contributions
- Oversees annual benefit compliance including plan strategy, SPDs, and Open Enrollment. Ensures accuracy of insurance enrollment system
- Conducts regular audits of processes and files including I-9's, licenses, and other required documentation
- Effectively and consistently communicates administrative directive to personnel and encourages interactive departmental meetings and discussions
- Analyzes HRIS data and makes recommendation about the access and organization of employees and managers within the system
- Develops and implements ways to bless our employees and demonstrate our values and appreciation of their loyalty and services
- Assist with developing processes to promote accuracy and efficiency within the organization
- Assist with developing processes legal compliance within all sections of HR as advised by the leadership team. Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and stays up to date on HR laws
- Assists with company event planning, execution, and evaluation
- Assists with recruitment efforts as requested
- Assists with the onboarding process as requested
- Assists with HR services as requested by the leadership team
- Demonstrated ability to apply common sense, critical thinking, and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram form
- Demonstrates ability to deal complex situations and problems involving several variables
- Assists with other tasks as needed
- Exceptional interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication
- Excellent time management and the ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Ability to understand and work with complex processes
