Compensation Consultant
The Compensation Consultant supports various lines of business with compensation related needs including job evaluation, compensation market reviews, reorganizations, exception processing, salary increases and offer structuring. The consultant assists and/or manages medium to large compensation projects such as the merit increase project, internal population analysis, and full scope FLSA reviews. The incumbent understands and manages compliance and risk related to compensation practices.
PositionResponsibilities Market Pricing & Benchmarking
- Perform market driven job analysis and evaluations of positions using various resources and provide recommendations to HR business partners and business leadership.
- Regularly conduct market reviews of assigned groups to determine market competitiveness and internal equity.
- Assist in the participation of annual salary surveys including but not limited to data gathering, data validation, submission, etc.
- Update matches with annual changes provided by the vendor.
- Consult with HR business partners, Talent Acquisition, and/or various levels of business management to provide guidance and recommendations for internal and external offers and other business-related projects.
- Review exception requests.
- Stay apprised on all relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance (i.e., FLSA, EEOC, etc.).
- Conduct annual pay equity study for U.S. and Canada.
- Participate in ad hoc compensation projects as well as provide guidance and support to other HR team members on compensation related matters.
- Review and provide recommendations on large and moderately complex data sets to support business initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university; business related degree.
- 4 years of progressive experience in compensation and analytics administration.
- 3 years of salary survey participation experience.
- 3 years of analyzing large data sets.

From $90,000.00 per year
