HR Generalist

Aranda Industries is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to oversee day-to-day human resource functions and support our growing team. The ideal candidate will handle recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance, ensuring smooth HR operations in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Manage the full recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires.
- Oversee employee relations, including addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Administer benefits programs, including enrollment, updates, and answering employee questions.
- Manage HR documentation, such as employee files, payroll records, performance evaluations, and attendance logs.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Assist with payroll processing by providing accurate employee data and time records.
- Support management in implementing training and development programs.
- Monitor and manage employee performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
- Track and manage leave requests, including PTO, sick leave, and FMLA.
- Maintain up-to-date job descriptions and policies and assist with policy creation when needed.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide HR support for all departments.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Solid knowledge of employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, OSHA, etc.) and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to handle employee concerns effectively.
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is preferred but not required.
