Service Now RPA Architect – Intelligent Automation Migration Expert —
Location:
Remote, USA (EST preferred). Rate: $70 - $80 per hour (W2 preferred). Job Type: Contract, 12 Months.
Our client is seeking a skilled Service Now RPA Architect to lead the design, migration, and implementation of robotic process automation (RPA) solutions within the Service Now platform
. The ideal candidate will have direct experience migrating bots and workflows from platforms such as UiPath, Blue Prism, or Automation Anywhere into Service Now RPA Design Studio
, along with hands-on expertise in building scalable and high-performance automation solutions.
This is a strategic, hands-on architecture role that combines technical leadership, migration planning, automation design, and post-deployment optimization—ideal for someone passionate about next-generation Service Now automation capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Migrate existing bots/workflows from platforms like Ui Path ,
Blue Prism
, or Automation Anywhere to Service Now RPA
. - Estimate, design, develop, and implement new Service Now RPA automations aligned with industry best practices.
- Analyze and document current business processes to convert them into accurate and efficient Service Now automated workflows.
- Optimize and enhance existing Service Now RPA solutions for improved performance and scalability.
- Work cross-functionally with enterprise architecture, business analysts, and development teams to ensure successful integration with broader enterprise systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve post-deployment issues to ensure reliability and minimal downtime.
- Continuously monitor RPA trends and innovations in Service Now Design Studio to drive adoption of new capabilities and improvements.
- Proven experience as an RPA Architect
, with hands-on migration experience from legacy RPA tools to Service Now
. - Strong knowledge of Service Now RPA Design Studio
, including design patterns, components, and workflow orchestration. - Demonstrated ability to analyze and convert existing automation workflows into optimized Service Now RPA solutions.
- Experience developing robust automation strategies while minimizing business disruption during migration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to support troubleshooting, performance tuning
, and post-go-live enhancements. - Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to liaise across technical and business teams.
- Familiarity with Service Now platform capabilities
, especially related to integration and automation modules.
- 8–10+ years in RPA/automation roles, with at least 3+ years in Service Now RPA
. - Hands-on migration experience from UiPath, Blue Prism, or Automation Anywhere into Service Now
. - Deep understanding of business process automation and workflow reengineering
. - Experience with Service Now integration and platform extension to support end-to-end enterprise automation.
- Skilled in handling RPA performance, scalability, and support in production environments.
- Self-driven, technically adept, and up to date with RPA trends and Service Now automation releases
