We're looking for an IT Spe cia list with a broad background and experience providing Tier 1 and 2 network, systems, and phone support to help us operate and maintain our client's IT systems.

Your knowledge will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. Your communication skills will come in handy as you turn met rics into information and articulate their meaning and provide direct desktop support to users. We focus on growing as a team, so we'll share techniques, work through challenges, and develop new met hodologies together.

What You'll Work On:
* Provide installation, tuning, testing, operating, monitoring, upgrading, patching, break or fix, defense, and management of WAN and LAN routing and switching infrastructure hardware and sof tware, including network hardware and sof tware.

* Configure, install, operate, maintain, defend, troubleshoot, and repair LAN or WAN capabilities, including point-to-point circuits, satellite connectivity, dedicated Internet connections, and broadband Internet connections, including necessary additions and changes to asso cia ted routers, switches, and encryption devices.

* Configure, operate, maintain, defend, troubleshoot, and repair IT infrastructures, including necessary additions and changes to asso cia ted routers, switches, external USSOCOM and commer cia l provider circuits and encryption devices.

* Configure, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair IT Programs of Record ( PORs ) .

* Configure, operate, maintain, defend, troubleshoot, and repair the Virtual Local Area Network ( VLAN ) architectures.

* Configure, operate, maintain, defend, troubleshoot, and repair LANs, including wireless access points and their interconnection to the wired infrastructure.

* Provision, operate, manage, and monitor LAN or WAN Virtual Private Network ( VPN ) services to securely connect remote elements and mission partners over the SIE and shared public IP networks, while ensuring compliance with applicable policies , procedures, regulations, and directives.

* Troubleshoot LAN or WAN voice, data, and transmission networks and evaluate the effect of architectural changes on them.

* Implementing network and security access.

* Collaborate and coordinate with external government and commer cia l circuit providers to expedite the restoration of circuit outages.

* Providing mobile device and CSfC kit support. Join us. The world can't wait. You Have:
* 6+ years of experience providing Tier 1 and 2 network, VTC, and desktop support to clients

* Experience with multiple network protocols, sof tware, and hardware involved in IT Spe cia list operations

* Knowledge of government hardware, sof tware, and network components

* Ability to work a shift or non-standard work schedule to support the client's mission

* TS / SCI clearance

* HS diploma or GED

* IAT Level II Certification and Cisco Certified Network Asso cia te Certification Nice If You Have:
* Experience with Army radio systems

* Possession of excellent communication and customer service skills

* Possession of excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and diagnostic skills
