Media Manager with a strongprogrammaticfocus to own the hands-on execution, optimization, and performance of digital media campaigns. This role is very muchhands on keyboard - you’llbeinplatforms daily, managing live campaigns,optimizing in real time, and serving as the primary point of contact for programmatic and endemic display and video efforts.
This role will take strategic direction from Bayer’s internal
PMT (Performance Marketing Team), particularly the digital media manager.
You’llwork closely with brand agencies and internal partners to ensure campaigns are executed flawlessly, creatively sound, and performance-driven across programmatic and direct digital(endemic) buys.
This role will also have the potential to work within paid social platforms.
Primary Responsibilities
- Execute andoptimizeday-to-day digital media campaigns across programmatic and endemic display & video platforms
- Serve as thefirst point of contact for all programmatic and endemic display activity,ensuring partner deliverables align with strategy, timelines, and measurement expectations.
This includes:- Campaign setup and trafficking
- In-flight optimization and pacing
- Supplier and publisher coordination
- Actualizations and post-launch updates
- Manage hands-on buying and optimization within platforms such asDV
360andThe Trade Desk,andcoordinatedirect publisher media buys - Monitor performance in real time and proactively adjust bids, budgets, targeting, creative, and inventory strategies to drive results
- Partner withcreativeagencies on:
- Executional planning conversations
- Creative best practices and specifications
- Campaignlogisticsand timelines
- Ensureaccurateimplementation of tracking, pixels,taxonomy,and reporting requirements, working closely with Advertising Operations.
- Troubleshoot delivery or performance issues and providetimelysolutions
- Support campaign reporting, insights, and learnings to inform future optimizations and planning
- Contribute to the development and refinement ofdigitalmediabest practices, standards, and documentation.
- Ensure campaigns adhere to brand safety, data privacy, and platform compliance standards.
- 5+ years hands-on experience executing andoptimizingprogrammatic and direct digital media campaigns
- Working knowledge of:
- Google Display & Video 360 (DV360)
- The Trade Desk
- Direct digital buying with publishers
- Proven experience managing display and video campaigns from setup through optimization
- Strong understanding of programmatic fundamentals, including targeting, bidding strategies, pacing, and performance metrics
- Experience coordinating with publishers, suppliers, and agency partners
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple live campaigns simultaneously
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, execution-focused environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Curiosity inthe agricultural industry
- Working knowledge of:
- Google Campaign Manager
- Google Ads
- Adobe Analytics
- Audience management platforms (Liveramp)
- Verification tools (IAS)
- Paid social buying platforms
- Familiarity with creative best practices for display and video across programmatic platforms
- Experience collaborating with brand agencies and internal specialized marketing function son integrated marketing plans
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate performance data into actionable optimizations
- Previous experience in an agency or high-volume in-house media environment
- Passion for staying current on programmatic trends, platform updates, and emerging ad tech
