At Zühlke, you will shape the most critical technology transformations and modernization programs for our clients – as a trusted consultant for decision-makers and as an architect who translates strategy into working systems.

Architecture is the foundation of every successful application. You master architectural thinking and design solutions that meet both functional and non-functional requirements. Terms like event-driven architecture or cloud-native architecture are much more than buzzwords for you – you are passionate about bringing these concepts together into a solution that actually works in practice.

• As a trusted consultant, you build strong relationships with key decision-makers on the client side. With your impulses and recommendations, you shape technological decisions – you are the person a CTO calls before a strategic decision, not after.
• In your role as a solution architect, you design architectures for large and complex applications and are responsible for their implementation from conception to go-live. You combine technical excellence with measurable business benefits.
• Depending on your experience level, you take responsibility for a single strategic customer engagement or shape the direction of multiple initiatives simultaneously. Regardless, I value the quality of your architectural work and the strength of your customer relationships.
• In close collaboration with IT and business decision-makers, you develop a deep understanding of their domains, requirements, and challenges. Thus, you act as a strategic partner on an equal footing and actively shape the technological future of our customers.

• A completed degree in computer science or a comparable field, along with several years of experience as a software engineer and architect in enterprise environments.
• Proven practical experience in software development and a track record of driving strategic technology decisions together with stakeholders from various professional backgrounds and hierarchical levels.
• Very good German and English language skills. Speaking the language of our customers – in the literal and figurative sense – is an essential part of building trust.
• Enjoyment of personal relationships with customers and colleagues, as well as the willingness to work in a hybrid model (2-3 days per week at the client or in one of our Zühlke offices).
• You have a thorough understanding of how artificial intelligence is changing software development and technology architecture, and you actively use this knowledge to advise customers and create sustainable added value.
