Our client, a leading organization in the technology and data management sector, is seeking a Data Center Technician
- Technical IT 3 - Night shift to join their dedicated team. As a Data Center Technician
- Technical IT 3 - Night shift, you will be an essential part of the Data Center Operations supporting the IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate adaptability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Duration: 18 Months on W2
Pay Range:$35/hour+ Benefits & PTO

What's the Job?

• Prepare, stage, set up, and perform startups and shutdowns of hardware components such as racks, hard drives, and switches following detailed instructions and protocols.
• Conduct post-execution quality checks to ensure proper grounding, staging, labeling, and cabling according to safety and deployment standards.
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify and resolve hardware issues efficiently, replacing faulty components as needed.
• Decommission hardware for simple upgrades or refreshes, including memory upgrades and OS rebuilds, adhering to standard procedures.
• Communicate, report, and escalated incidents promptly to the appropriate Data Center Technician Leads to ensure minimal downtime and operational continuity.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and related components.
• At least 1 year of experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
