This is a full-time, on-site Paralegal role based in Clarkesville, GA. for our FAMILY LAW division. The Paralegal will support attorneys in case preparation across practice areas, including personal injury, family law, and criminal defense. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and organizing legal documents, managing case files, coordinating discovery, and conducting legal and factual research. The role involves reviewing records, maintaining accurate documentation, communicating with clients, courts, and external stakeholders, and preparing materials for hearings, mediations, and trials.
The Paralegal will also assist with scheduling, deadline tracking, and ensuring compliance with court rules and procedures.
- Strong foundation in Law, with experience supporting litigation and family law or personal injury matters
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting pleadings, motions, correspondence, and discovery responses
- Excellent Communication skills for interacting with clients, attorneys, court personnel, and third parties
- Solid Research abilities, including legal research, fact investigation, and analysis of case-related information
- Attention to detail and accuracy in Document Review, including medical records, police reports, and legal filings
- Ability to manage multiple cases, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Competence with legal practice management software and standard office applications
- Paralegal certificate or relevant degree, or equivalent practical experience in a law firm setting
