Short Description (2): The Supply Chain Manager has a strategic focus based on the current Global Supply Chain Strategy. The person is expected to execute and enforce our Supply Chain processes and be part of developing processes when and where necessary.

Qualifications (2): B.A and Minimum 7 years of experience in a Manufacturing environment. Possesses experience, knowledge and has the network to support purchases of electromechanical components, assemblies, cable harnesses, sheet metal fabrication, and machining services.

Responsibilities

Plans, manages, and coordinates all activities related to the planning, sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies needed to meet the changing levels of product demand.

Possesses experience, knowledge and has the network to support purchases of electromechanical components, assemblies, cable harnesses, sheet metal fabrication, and machining services etc.) in support of production needs.

Protects Scanfil Business interests by adhering to Business Code and Compliance related policies.

Understands, Product Portfolio Financing methods and Mandatory Commercial systems and tools.

Acts with customer and company in mind anticipating customer needs.

Understands our customers business and provides value to internal and external customers while also protecting the company’s business interests.

Performance monitoring and development via Key performance indicators required to continuously improve and meet and exceed desired results and expectations of the business.

Works well in a team-oriented environment while being open to, and activity soliciting opportunities for departmental improvement.

Coordinates periodic performance reviews with suppliers supported by pre-set, established and agreed upon key performance indicators.

Participates and leads the supply effort in the quoting process of new business.

Develops, builds, and grow relationship with vendors and distributors.

Works with transport companies and freight forwarders both International and domestic with the goal of establishing reliable on time delivery, minimization of damages at a fair rate.

Participates in the transport cost optimization of inbound shipments with the goal of reducing freight costs.

Supports and enforces proper utilization of ERP system.

Authority

Oversees the Supply Chain for plant Atlanta as well as the logistics strategy and operations in order to maximize efficiency and productivity.

The Supply Chain and Planning team will report to the Supply Chain Manager.

Train and develop team.
