Key responsibilities of this role include overseeing all warehouse, shipping, and receiving operations and personnel; maintaining inventory control systems; conducting inventory analysis; leading annual physical inventories and cycle count programs; managing tactical buying; participating in SIOP; driving daily expedite processes; monitoring and reporting key metrics; managing freight costs; implementing lean methodologies; supporting continuous improvement initiatives; ensuring ISO compliance; leading and developing the team;

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations Management, or related field (preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in logistics, materials management, or supply chain, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• 5+ years in a leadership role managing warehouse and logistics personnel
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, lean principles, and materials planning
• Certification in APICS, CLTD, or Lean Six Sigma (a plus)
• Experience with ERP/MRP, warehouse management, and logistics systems

The Logistics and Materials Manager oversees all logistics, materials management, inventory control, and warehouse functions to ensure efficient material flow and support production operations. This role collaborates closely with Purchasing, Planning, and Production teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and drive continuous improvement in performance. The manager leads a team to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in shipping, receiving, inventory, and management while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and lean operations.
