Supply Chain & Materials Manager, Nefab Packaging Southeast

Nefab Group is on a growth journey, and we are dependent on high-performance people to succeed. Our Operations organization is vital for us to deliver lean, efficient, and reliable manufacturing solutions to our customers. We are looking for a Supply Chain & Materials Manager to join our team in Nefab Braselton, GA.

The Supply Chain & Materials Manager serves as the operational right-hand to the Site Manager, overseeing all end-to-end materials management, production planning, procurement, and inventory control for the facility. This role is responsible for translating high-volume, high-mix, dedicated customer demand into a seamless, lean operational workflow.

As a hands‑on leader, you will functionally direct the plant’s planning and purchasing team, champion ERP system optimization, ensure data compliance, and drive materials velocity. This position requires an expert balancer of data-driven inventory strategy and floor-level manufacturing realities to maximize plant capacity and efficiency.

Job Summary
  • Operational Leadership:
Serve as the strategic second-in-command to the Site Manager; act as the primary operational anchor for the facility's day-to-day material and planning flow.
  • Team Leadership:
Functionally lead, mentor, and develop the plant planning and purchasing team (1 Planner, 1 Buyer), and warehousing to ensure synchronized material intake and production scheduling.
  • Materials & Inventory Management:
Own total site inventory health, including raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods. Drive initiatives to optimize cash flow, minimize scrap, and maximize inventory turns.
  • ERP Integration & Compliance:
Act as the plant’s ERP champion and superuser (Microsoft Dynamics -> Infor M3). Lead data integrity efforts, optimize scheduling modules, ensure bills of materials (BOMs) are accurate, and maintain strict inventory accounting compliance.
  • Capacity & Demand Synchronization:
Manage master production scheduling to optimize a high-velocity manufacturing environment where plant capacity is tightly integrated with high-volume, critical account requirements. Support site integration into America’s S&OP process.
  • Supplier & Logistics Management:
Oversee inbound supply chains, monitor vendor performance metrics, mitigate lead-time risks, and manage local 3PL or warehousing relationships.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Distribution, Operations Management, or an equivalent field
  • 5+ years of progressive supply chain experience within a fast‑paced manufacturing or industrial packaging environment
  • Demonstrated experience leading or functionally directing small, agile teams (Planning, Purchasing, or Inventory Control)
  • Power‑user experience with tier‑1 ERP platforms (Microsoft Dynamics or SAP highly preferred), with a proven track record supporting or executing system integrations/optimizations
  • Strong understanding of product costing, material variance, and plant-level P&L impacts
  • Mastery of Excel, with the ability to build data models, track capacity constraints, and turn raw ERP data into actionable operational strategies
  • A hands‑on, "roll‑up‑your‑sleeves" leader who transitions smoothly between high‑level material planning and troubleshooting on the plant floor
  • Exceptional communication skills to align local operations with corporate supply chain structures and vendor networks
  • Resilient, proactive problem‑solver capable of managing tight material constraints in a plant tied to high‑volume output demands
