Location: Ellabell
Daniel Defense LLC seeks a Planning and SIOP Manager to lead demand, supply, and capacity planning for our premium firearms manufacturing operations in Georgia. In this role, you will own the SIOP process, build and maintain master production schedules, and optimize inventory and service levels across AR-style rifles, pistols, and accessories. Partnering closely with operations, supply chain, sales, and engineering, you will analyze forecasts, identify constraints, and drive data-based decisions that support quality, safety, and on-time delivery in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead SIOP process to align demand, supply, and capacity plans for firearms manufacturing operations
- Develop and maintain master production schedules to meet customer delivery, inventory, and service targets
- Analyze demand forecasts, historical data, and sales inputs to drive accurate planning
- Optimize inventory levels and safety stock across product lines and components
- Collaborate with operations, procurement, sales, and engineering to resolve constraints and schedule changes
- Monitor key KPIs (OTIF, forecast accuracy, capacity utilization) and drive continuous improvement
- Implement and refine planning tools, ERP/MRP parameters, and standard work
- Lead cross-functional SIOP meetings and communicate risks, scenarios, and recommendations to leadership
- Support new product introductions with integrated demand and capacity planning
- Ensure planning processes meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards
