General Cleaner (Custodian – Monroe County, GA)

• Pay: $15.50 per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Sweeping, dusting, dust mopping, damp mopping, and vacuuming.
  • Extracting carpet and stripping and waxing floors.
  • Removing trash, recycling, and cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and locker rooms.
  • Polishing the outside area within 10 feet of entryways and washing windows.
  • Removing snow and ice, and cleaning desks, walls, furniture, doors, entry glass, interior glass, counter tops, chalkboards, whiteboards, blinds, and light fixtures.
  • Executing any other custodial duties directed by the custodial supervisor or designated representative.
Qualifications
  • Excellent work history.
  • Team‑focused approach with the ability to work with others and take direction.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a physically demanding, fast‑paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Background check required.
  • Previous cleaning experience is a plus but not required.
Physical & Working Conditions

Employees must be able to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push, and pull. They must lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Extensive walking and standing for the duration of the shift is required. The role involves working in temperatures ranging from hot to cold, with strict production and service time frames as established by the company.
