EssentialJob Responsibilities
- Conduct minor repairs to facilities and premises – painting, patching, office and breakroom equipment, minor electrical work, furniture, walls, ceiling tiles, carpeting, floor tiles, and basic HVAC.
- Conduct physical inspections of the facility grounds, premises, hallways, common areas, and restrooms; note anything that might need repair, maintenance, clean‑up, or is hazardous, and report it to the appropriate building staff.
- Cleans the facility and premises outside regular custodial services as needed.
- Collaborate with workers and other professionals during repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Report issues to a facilities or maintenance administrator.
- Check functionality of safety systems (e.g., fire alarm).
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to use and master various digital tools, including electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance tools.
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain focus while working independently.
- Desire to work in a team‑oriented environment.
- Detail‑oriented with strong time‑management skills.
- Associate’s degree or higher; a technical degree is preferred.
- 5+ years of related work experience.
