We''re looking for a Construction Manager for DZ''s Feedwater Heater project in Baxley, GA.

Responsibilities
  • The CM is responsible for the successful oversight of all project construction, including safety of every employee and promoting a strong safety culture.
  • Have working knowledge and implementation of the craft/labor agreements at project.
  • Maintain relationships with local labor officials, work with the Project Manager, hold regular meetings with the building trades, and site meetings with the job stewards for each craft, promoting a harmonious work environment.
  • Maintain the project in a clean and orderly condition, and hold staff, craft and subcontractors accountable.
  • Be a team builder by bringing direct hire and subcontractors together for safe project execution while meeting quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
  • Ensure every employee is trained to perform the assigned task.
  • Keep client relations a high priority and escalate issues to senior management when necessary.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of relevant Construction Management experience in the nuclear construction industry or similar responsible position at a similar facility and/or industry application.
  • Broad experience in managing project scopes with safety, human performance, and subcontract management.
  • Bachelor''s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred, or equivalent of 15 years of construction experience.
  • Associate degree in a relevant field or completion of an apprenticeship program required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, plus company-required training.
  • Working knowledge of Primavera P6 scheduling and project cost accounting and change management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of project scheduling and subcontract management.
  • Experience managing multiple construction subcontractors.
  • Ability to generate a construction execution plan and staffing plan with craft manpower curves over the life of a project.
  • Experience with union building trades; resume experience required.
  • Must be able to read, interpret, and have working knowledge of the following: safety procedures, nuclear quality program under NQA-1, applicable union labor agreement, contract documents, project documents and specifications, project change management, scopes of work for subcontract documents, and DZ operating procedures (training required).
Compensation and Benefits

In compliance with pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $140,000 - $225,000. Final offer amount may vary based on experience and geographic location.
