RN Manager Mother Baby

This is a Manager, Mother Baby opportunity at a 600-plus-bed regional medical center in Savannah, GA — home to the region's only Level I trauma center and children's hospital, as well as a dedicated children’s hospital and programs for high‑risk pregnancies and high‑risk newborns serving 35 counties across southeast Georgia and southern South Carolina.

The Manager, Mother Baby reports to the Director of Women’s Services and directly oversees a team of 29.5 FTEs comprising RNs, CNAs, and Unit Secretaries across a 22‑bed unit with an average daily census of approximately 15 patients. In collaboration with the broader leadership team, this manager leads the planning, organizing, staffing, and day‑to‑day direction of unit operations, and plays a central role in developing the policies and procedures that guide care delivery.

A significant part of this role involves providing hands‑on leadership to a tenured nursing staff, making strong, proven postpartum leadership skills essential. The manager will also contribute to quality improvement initiatives and help shape a cohesive, high‑performing team environment.

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice, or a current Compact/Multi‑State RN license
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required;
  Master’s Degree preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required if not currently held; must be obtained within 60 months of hire
• 3 or more years of recent RN experience in women’s services within an acute care setting required
• 1 or more years of supervisory or leadership experience required

Full‑time, day shift, no weekends.
