Responsibilities
- Lead and coach the branch team, overseeing the administration and coordination of sales and service activities.
- Maximize revenue, profitability, sales, and customer satisfaction while minimizing operational losses.
- Ensure compliance with operational and security procedures, deepen existing relationships, and minimize customer attrition.
- Support the administration of sales and service activities, promotional campaigns, and product initiatives.
- Track progress toward branch loan and deposit goals and initiate directives to achieve objectives.
- Develop branch projections and expectations in strategic planning, including sales goals.
- Provide leadership by setting an example for staff and implement good customer relations, effective selling and cross‑selling.
- Supervise staff performance, make personnel decisions, set goals, coach, hire, train, and re‑train staff.
- Conduct regular meetings to discuss sales, campaigns, products, services, policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Handle branch security procedures and comply with audit procedures.
- Serve customers quickly, accurately, efficiently, and confidentially; recommend appropriate products.
- Process loan applications within lending authority; manage collections of delinquent loans and loan exceptions.
- Open new deposit accounts and manage stop payments, wire transfers, and other maintenance functions.
- Resolve customer problems and complaints with courtesy and promote additional services.
- Participate in community business development activities to promote and retain relationships.
- Explain bank objectives, policies, and programs to employees and direct implementation.
- Monitor branch resources and submit requests to serve customers efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations (Regulation CC, Bank Secrecy Act).
- Maintain professional appearance; keep an orderly work area and understand customer‑facing technology.
- Accept other duties as assigned.
- Education:
High School Diploma, BA degree, and/or 2 years in Banking. - Minimum 2 years of prior banking experience, including lending and past supervisory experience.
- Strong organizational, leadership, communication, planning, decision‑making, and writing skills.
- Excellent PC skills, problem‑solving ability, creativity, and innovative thinking.
- High energy, passion, commitment to excellence, unquestionable ethics, and integrity.
Willing to travel for meetings and classes; able to stand and/or sit for long periods; able to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, and reports.
Work EnvironmentTypically located in an open lobby area or private office within a cooled and heated facility.
TravelTravel may be required to attend meetings and training as needed.
