About the Role

Benore Logistic Systems, Inc. is seeking a Terminal Manager to lead and oversee terminal operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and exceptional service. The role involves managing assets, optimizing performance, and developing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team by supervising drivers, logistics specialists, clerical staff, and operations supervisors, coaching them and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Maximize operational efficiency by leveraging tractors, trailers, and CDL drivers to optimize routes, manage schedules, and achieve safety, financial, and service goals.
  • Ensure compliance and safety by enforcing DOT, OSHA, C-TPAT regulations, conducting safety checks, administering HOS rules, and overseeing accident investigations.
  • Strengthen customer relationships, serving as the primary terminal contact to anticipate needs and resolve issues.
  • Monitor and drive key performance metrics, track KPIs, analyze data, and implement improvements.
  • Conduct field checks and performance assessments, including ride-alongs with drivers to evaluate safety protocols.
  • Oversee facility and equipment maintenance, coordinating with vendors and maintenance teams.
  • Administer payroll and time management ensuring accurate processing and scheduling.
  • Support hiring and talent acquisition, participating in recruitment and handling disciplinary actions.
  • Maintain and improve terminal infrastructure, ensuring an organized, safe, and efficient work environment.
  • Implement best practices for quality and compliance, enforcing ISO certification standards and driving continuous improvement.
  • Champion communication and team cohesion by leading meetings, providing updates, and encouraging feedback.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Transportation, Logistics, or related field preferred;
    Associate’s degree with 8+ years of experience considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in transportation operations, logistics, or terminal management.
Technical and Regulatory Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite and transportation management software (TMW, Peoplenet, Speed Gauge, Rand McNally, PCMiler).
  • Strong understanding of DOT compliance, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, C-TPAT best practices, OSHA standards, and ISO certifications (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, OHSAS 45001).

  • Leadership: experience leading teams, resolving conflicts, fostering accountability.
  • Analytical & problem-solving: ability to analyze KPIs, optimize operations, and implement data-driven improvements.
  • Communication: excellent verbal and written skills, with ability to maintain customer relationships.
