The selected candidate must be a member of a team with the responsibility to maintain efficient flow of material in and out of the warehouse associated with proper placement of material into assembly, picking orders for shipment or returning the product to the warehouse as necessary. The candidate must be able to operate gas or electric powered industrial trucks (Reach and Counterbalance forklifts) and material handling equipment to perform the @gmail duties of the position.
EssentialJob Functions
- Retrieve finished goods to be shipped from the assembly area and ship using proper systems and transactions.
- Receive materials and place them into inventory using proper systems and transactions.
- Transact material movement into Epicor to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Operate material handling equipment.
- Operate Reach and Counterbalance Forklifts.
- Loading and Unloading Semi Trailers.
- Abide by all established organizational policies, rules, and regulations.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Employees are required to walk long distances repeatedly throughout the day.
- Employee required to climb step stools/small ladders.
- Workers are required to lift packages up to 50 pounds.
- Work may require bending or stooping.
- Standing/Walking 8+ hours per day.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Operation of material handling equipment (6 months 1 year).
- Understanding the importance of accurate inventory transactions.
- Working with other departments leads to achieving goals.
- 1-3 months related work experience.
- Previously trained, or able to be trained in the operation of material handling equipment.
- Maintain quality service on all transactions and follow organizational standards.
- Ability to use or be trained in the use of RF scanner and tablets.
- Knowledge of product movement in and out of a warehouse.
- Knowledge and ability to use ERP systems such as Epicor.
- Basic Computer Skills, i.e. data entry, general knowledge.
- Able to work懈 independently and as a member of a team.
- Operate basic hand tools, i.e. air drivers,ult wrenches etc.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Knowledge of basic mathematical skills.
- Good work ethic.

The position requires operating or working around heavy equipment, which if performed while under the influence of drugs (including marijuana) or alcohol could result in errors in judgment, inattentiveness or diminished coordination, dexterity or composure that could in turn result in mistakes that would endanger the health and safety of you and others.
