Role OverviewThe Team Lead – Assembly role is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for guiding front‑line production employees and ensuring daily assembly operations run safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This position plays a vital role in driving quality, productivity, and continuous improvement by coordinating manpower, monitoring output, and supporting operational processes on the manufacturing floor. The Team Lead also develops team performance through coaching, training, and clear communication while reinforcing company standards and safety expectations.
This role is essential to maintaining a high‑performing production environment and delivering consistent, high‑quality results.

Responsibilities & Key Performance Indicators- Lead and coordinate daily assembly operations to meet production schedules, output goals, and efficiency targets.
- Promote and enforce workplace safety standards, ensuring all tasks and equipment are operated safely in alignment with Safety KPIs.
- Monitor product quality and assembly processes to maintain company quality standards and reduce defects or rework.
- Track production performance, adjust workflows as needed, and communicate operational changes to maintain productivity targets.
- Train, coach, and support front‑line team members to improve performance, skill development, and overall team effectiveness.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 5 years of production/manufacturing/assembly experience, including 1 year of production leadership.
- Strong knowledge of assembly design, parts, and manufacturing processes (including plastics, sheet metal, brazing, molding, and finishing).
- Knowledge of operational machinery and equipment.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of process improvement tools such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Previous experience training or onboarding front‑line manufacturing employees.
- Advanced troubleshooting experience with assembly equipment or downtime resolution.

Salary & BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 – $32.00 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of what Hoshizaki America expects to pay for this role. Actual pay may vary based on experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
