They are looking for you, an experienced Materials Coordinator, to support production planning and material flow in a direct hire role. This position is essential to operations and offers the opportunity to grow into leadership as part of a long-term succession plan.
What you get to do:- Work in Tekla (EPM/Power Fab) to review and interpret structural steel drawings
- Translate drawings into material usage and cutting plans
- Determine available inventory vs. required materials
- Coordinate with purchasing and shop teams on material needs
- Perform math-based calculations for lengths, quantities, and cuts
- Manage material tracking, labeling, and inventory updates
- Support production flow by improving efficiency and reducing bottlenecks
- Strong math skills (fractions, measurements, calculations)
- Ability to read and interpret technical or structural drawings
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to learn new software (Tekla) quickly
- Self-sufficient with strong decision-making ability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
