Entry-Level Packaging Operator — 3 Shifts

Position Overview

AJM Packaging Corporation, one of America’s leading manufacturers of paper products, including paper plates, cups, bowls and bags, is seeking General Labor and Warehouse Entry Level employees who thrive in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. • 1st 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 2nd 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM
• 3rd 11:30 PM – 7:00 AM

• $15.50/HR to start, 1st review and raise of up to $1 at 90 days
• Plus an additional $0.50/HR for every hire you refer to AJM, with no limit on the number of referrals

• Check the condition and quality of the finished product and remove any that do not meet AJM quality standards
• Maintain accurate count of product when packing or bagging, as well as keeping pace with the varying production speeds/levels
• Support start‑up operations by stripping, preparing, setting and changing rolls
• Gather finished product from machines and box, bag or package as required
• Secure cases to prevent shifting or moving by stacking them in an orderly manner
• Complete all other duties the Supervisor deems necessary

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Must be 18 years of age
• Previous Factory or Manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
