Position: PLYWOOD OPERATOR

Earth in Appling, GA. As a Plywood Operator, you will operate and manage key equipment in the plywood production process, ensuring efficient material flow, accurate inventory tracking, and high-quality output. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.

What We're Looking For:

* Experience operating cleaning and stacking lines in a production environment

* Proficiency using vacuum-assist hoists and operating heavy-duty forklifts (e.g., 18K capacity)

* Strong attention to detail, including accurate completion of manual and electronic production documentation

* Experience with inventory management and material tracking

* Ability to collaborate with production teams to meet operational goals

* Experience performing quality control (QC) checks

* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

* Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

What You'll Do as a Plywood Operator:

* Operate cleaning and stacking lines to maintain smooth production flow

* Use vacuum-assist hoists to handle and position plywood materials

* Drive forklifts to transport materials between production areas

* Complete daily production reports through manual logs and digital systems

* Track and manage inventory of treated, dried, and finished plywood

* Collaborate with treatment, kiln, and production teams to execute production plans

* Strap and package finished plywood bundles for shipment

* Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards

* Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment
