Responsibilities- Repair and maintain industrial equipment, including conveying systems and major machine centers such as debarkers, canters, gang saws, and edgers.
- Read and understand drawings and printed instructions.
- Work safely under high‑pressure situations as a self‑starter.
- Understand line‑ups of pumps, sheaves, sprockets, and machine centers.
- Move machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
- Adjust tension on nuts and bolts or position parts to set specified clearances between moving and stationary parts.
- Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb tools.
- Assemble and install equipment using hand tools and power tools.
- Lay out mounting holes and drill holes with a power drill.
- Replace defective parts of a machine or adjust clearances and alignment of moving parts.
- Level bed‑plate and establish a center line using straightedge, levels, and transit.
- Dismantle machines using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, and other hand tools.
- Minimum five years of Millwright experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Associate’s degree in Industrial Maintenance acceptable.
- Cutting torch experience (oxygen/acetylene).
- Welding experience (GMAW and SMAW).
- Safety‑oriented and compliant with ZES.
- Willing to work overtime and be on‑call to support operations.
- Must successfully complete a pre‑employment drug screen, physical, and background check.
- Maintenance Assessment score of at least 80 required to be considered.
