Georgia‑Pacific is hiring an experienced Millwright to support our Lumber facility in Warrenton, GA. The role involves working on critical production equipment, troubleshooting heavy industrial machinery, and supporting reliability across the mill. This opportunity provides strong pay, stability, and technical growth in a large‑scale manufacturing environment.
Salary- Starting pay: $34–$42 per hour.
- $2,500 sign‑on bonus.
- Overtime opportunities based on operational needs.
Relocation benefits may be available.
Shift- 2‑3‑3‑2 schedule.
- Shifts:
5:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. or 5:00 p.m. – 5:30 a.m.
Flexibility for overtime, weekends, and holidays is occasionally required. Orientation Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities- Support high‑speed manufacturing equipment including conveyors, motors, hydraulics, pneumatic systems, and automated production lines.
- Perform reliability and maintenance work on heavy industrial machinery.
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance aligned with the facility’s maintenance strategy.
- Troubleshoot mechanical failures, identify root causes, and implement effective repairs.
- Partner with operations to prioritize maintenance needs and improve equipment performance.
- Follow all plant safety guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Work in hot, humid, cold, and noisy industrial environments.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and pulling for up to twelve (12) hours per shift.
- Communicate effectively with crane operators using standard hand signals.
- Work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.

- Three (3) years of experience in wood products or industrial maintenance in a manufacturing, production, or military environment.
- Experience reading blueprints and performing precision measurements.
- Experience troubleshooting rotating equipment (bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, conveyor systems).
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including reading hydraulic schematics.
- Associate degree or higher in Industrial Technology or a related field.
- Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Experience with rigging equipment, including identifying load weights and selecting rigging methods.
