Experienced CNC Programmer and Machinist

Location: Loganville

** THIS IS  NOT  AN OPERATOR POSITION*
* Machinist with a diverse back ground in manufacturing. Someone able to change and adapt to an ever evolving manufacturing environment, with-in a small fast-paced family owned organization. This position requires familiarity with CNC set up, programming and operation of equipment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Program, set-up and operation of CNC Okuma Milling equipment both Horizontal & Vertical.

You will be required to secure tooling for your jobs out of our vast selection.

Okuma and/or Mazak  experience is a plus+.

Okuma lathe experience is a plus+.

Extensive programming experience  required . Mastercam preferred.

Must be able read and understand blueprints and take knowledge to produce quality tight tolerance parts as required.

Must be able to read calipers, micrometers and other inspection equipment.

Understanding of speeds and feeds.

Having good written and verbal communication skills.

Being self-motivated.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Physical demands:
While performing duties of the job, employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time. Employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment:
Must be able to work in shop environment: i.e. heat & cold, dust and noise.

Overtime is required on a regular basis.

Pay starting at $40 an hour is negotiable based on experience and production capability.

Relocation help can be attained if the employee meets qualifications.
