Responsibilities- Good knowledge of and use of housekeeping techniques.
- Manage time effectively, work independently, and remain flexible in daily routine.
- Run the sweeper daily.
- Assist maintenance with cleaning tasks as needed in the preventative maintenance program.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Supervisor or other plant leadership.
- Maintain excellent attendance and dependability.
- Perform frequent bending, pushing, pulling, stooping, reaching, and lifting, and use cleaning agents safely.
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- Reading and writing skills required.
- 1–3 years of manufacturing experience (preferred).
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common business documents such as packing lists, manifests, bills of lading, pallet tickets, or job orders. Ability to listen and communicate effectively with co‑workers and customers/clients to respond to common inquiries or complaints.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to apply basic mathematical concepts (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) to tasks such as inventory control, material ordering, and job order verification.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an assortment of tasks or instructions.
Physical DemandsRequired to see, hear, crouch, use stairs, stand, bend, reach, and handle with hands and arms. Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and push 100–200 pounds.
Working ConditionsIndoor/outdoor manufacturing environment. Moderate to high noise; hearing protection required. Safety gear such as gloves, hearing protection, and safety glasses required. Overtime per company policy may be required.
No Supervisory ResponsibilitiesAdditional duties as required. This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
