Process Technician (Injection Molding)

Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a prominent client in Elberton, GA within the automotive industry, is seeking a Process Technician to join their team! This company boasts competitive salaries, and great benefits.

Process Technician Summary:
Pay: $25-32/hr.
Schedule: M-F 2nd shift 3pm-11pm or 3rd shift 11pm-7am Sun-Thurs.

Responsible for all aspects of the injection molding process including, tool setup, startup, and process verification to standard.
Trouble shoots and corrects all quality and down time molding issues quickly and effectively
Maintain standard cycle times and part quality
Robot and EOA setup and troubleshooting
Performs color changes
Responsible for auxiliary and secondary tooling setup
Complete and maintain process verification check sheets
Perform First and last Piece quality checks
Assist the mold setters in tool changes
5S of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment
Complete tasks and assignments given to Process Techs in team meetings.
Follow all safety requirements and programs.
Shift Turnover, review daily events with the previous shift Die Setter, Process Tech and with the Production Manager on daily events.

Process Technician Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years' experience with Injection mold / machine start-up
Ability to work safely with sharp and heavy objects
Ability to use measuring instruments such as scales, calipers, dial indicators.
Ability to use a computer and calculator.
Ability to read and write in English, and do basic math
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment.
Ability to comprehend and follow printed and computer-screen instructions, and direction from supervisors or technical leads.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Team oriented and self-motivated with a strong attention to detail.
Blend of technical, interpersonal skills
