QA Technician

QA Technician, 1st Shift

Essential duties & responsibilities include the following:
Conducts product sampling as well as chemical, microbiological & physical testing. Essential functions include basic comprehension of speaking, reading & writing in English, the ability to use and operate a computer, comprehension and knowledge retention of all Brakebush - Hartwell training programs (specifically quality and food safety), the ability to maintain and clean assigned tools, the ability to complete all required paperwork and database entries accurately and in a timely manner, the ability to communicate to direct report when there are deviations from the process or specification, a basic understanding of mathematics (addition, subtraction, percentages, multiplication and/or division), a basic understanding of quality control (acceptable vs.

unacceptable), the ability to place product on Hold and complete the Hold Tag process in an accurate and timely manner, and the ability to perform other related duties as assigned to support production demands as may be specified by customer or client.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
