Production Worker- 2nd Shift

Production Worker

Shift: 2nd – 3:30 pm to 12:00 am Monday‑Friday. Overtime and Saturdays may be required. Some training will be on first shift but eventually moved to second shift.

Wage: $19.38/hr with $0.75 shift premium for 2nd shift. Wage could be up to $20.86 based on skills and experience.

• Gather, bundle and stack fiberboard partitions and check glue. Take strips from stripper and fill the hoppers. Bundles weigh approximately 8‑40 lbs.
• Keep hoppers filled to the proper height.
• Catch partitions at the front or side in neat, predetermined quantities.
• Stack bundles correctly on pallets to meet customer orders and specifications. Watch for quality of partitions being manufactured and be able to measure to specifications.
• Keep area clean and orderly to remain a safe area.

• Can learn quickly and adapt to change and work well in a team environment.
• Have the ability to count accurately.
• Can use various tools including a broom, utility knife, bundler machine, turntable, tape gun, scrap buggy, shredder and air hose. Must be able to use a tape measure proficiently.
• Demonstrate knowledge of or ability to learn safety rules and procedures, and operating policies and procedures.
• Able to communicate effectively with others.
• Maintain good attendance and be reliable and dependable.
