ARC Welder
We are currently seeking an experienced ARC welder to join a metal manufacturing facility in Royston, GA. This is a 3rd shift opportunity ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and experienced in welding within a production environment.
Position Overview
We are looking for an ARC welder to assemble and fabricate metal components used in checkout counters and shelving units. Follow blueprints, drawings, and work orders to ensure weld accuracy and quality standards are met. Prepare and position materials by cutting, cleaning, and aligning metal parts prior to welding. Inspect finished welds for structural integrity, precision, and adherence to specifications. Operate grinders, cutters, and other finishing tools as needed.
Maintain welding equipment and follow all safety procedures and plant guidelines. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality goals.
Qualifications
Proven ARC welding experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication setting. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols. Familiarity with metal properties and proper welding techniques. Proficient with basic fabrication tools (grinders, clamps, cutters). Comfortable working overnight shifts in a fast-paced production environment. High school diploma or GED preferred; welding certification a plus.
