Electrical Supervisor - Plywood
Lead the Madison Electrical team to achieve injury-free and incident-free performance in a continuous manufacturing environment consistent with the management philosophy and framework. Supervise and coordinate electrical department activities that drive improvement in EHS, compliance, reliability, quality, production, and cost performance. Support production processes to align and optimize manufacturing operations in delivering value to the business. Develop and grow employees through coaching, skill development, problem-solving, performance management, and accountability.
Drive safety excellence by promoting employee involvement, ownership, and accountability, proactively identifying hazards, and implementing effective mitigation strategies based on risk. Monitor the quality of electrical craft work and provide direction to crew members to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. Assist with troubleshooting electrical and production-related issues to minimize downtime and improve reliability. Provide safety training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
Ensure accurate data entry and timely completion of reports.
Supervisory and/or electrical experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or military environment. Experience with remote troubleshooting. Working knowledge of electrical and control systems, including Allen-Bradley PLCs. Experience leading improvement efforts in Reliability, Predictive and Preventive Maintenance, and Root Cause Analysis. Ability to read electrical drawings and experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Associate degree or higher in a related technical field. Experience in a wood products manufacturing environment. Prior experience as an Electrical Supervisor or similar leadership role. Experience with power distribution, Allen-Bradley PLCs (Studio 5000), Allen-Bradley drives, Panel View HMIs, and robotics.
