Packaging Lead Person – Ashburn, GA

• Under limited supervision, lead a group colleagues to accomplish tasks in the Packaging Department

• Leadership and Organizational Skills
• Conducts job tasks with a positive, safe attitude and maintains a safe work record
• Maintain a good attendance record
• Work rotating shifts of various lengths including weekends and holidays
• Maintains good communication with all plant personnel (Other shifts, departments and managers)
• Maintain production rates
• Ability to understand and perform assigned job tasks easily and independently while flexible enough to work in team settings
• Maintains good housekeeping and ensures that required sanitation duties and paperwork are completed as required
• Conducts daily inspections, reporting any problems noted
• Continuously monitors and adjusts equipment for optimal performance and quality
• Review quality control documents and make necessary adjustments
• Perform Food Safety/HACCP/Quality Control checks and document
• Complete assigned paperwork accurately
• Perform maintenance and sanitation on machines as required
• May perform other duties as assigned

Pay: up to $21.00 an hour plus shift differential when on nights
