Competitive starting pay

$20 per hour plus a $1.50 night shift premium, with annual increases based on performance and a potential bonus opportunity twice a year.

Schedule

We work 12‑hour rotating shifts with every other weekend off. The night shift runs 4 PM–4 AM. Moving to the day shift (4 AM–4 PM) is based on the hire date.

Duties of the Assistant Operator
  • Operate raw material transfer systems for facility extruders.
  • Locate raw materials in the warehouse.
  • Maintain resin silo levels and refill when needed.
  • Provide relief coverage for other extrusion operators during breaks.
  • Become familiar with mixer job requirements for the facility.
  • Record material identification and amounts of material used.
  • Package and properly label finished material and place it in the holding area.
  • Wear proper PPE as designated by the work instruction.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Preferred experience, training, and skills
  • High school diploma or GED (required).
  • Ability to work a rotating 12‑hour shift schedule from 4 PM–4 AM.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to stand/walk up to 12 hours during the shift.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs as needed.
  • Ability to climb stairs multiple times a day as needed.
