CNC Machinist

(Lavonia, GA):
Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a CNC Machine Operator in steel manufacturing.

• Operate CNC machines to cut, shape, and finish steel components according to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
• Set up machines, including tool changes and calibration
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment
• Inspect finished products using measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality standards
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company policies

• Proven experience operating CNC machinery, preferably in steel manufacturing
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and varying temperatures
