Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our Statham, GA facility. This role requires experience in CNC setup, programming, and operation using conversational programming, G‑codes, and canned cycles to produce high‑quality, custom machined parts.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions
- Set up, program, and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts
- Select appropriate tooling, speeds, feed rates, and work holding methods
- Design and build fixtures and supports for machining processes
- Inspect parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Verify parts meet specifications and tolerances throughout production
- Deburr and finish parts as required
- Select and prepare raw materials for machining
- Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Support team members and other departments as a technical resource
- Work overtime or weekends as needed
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years CNC machining experience OR completion of a Tool Technology program
- Experience with CNC setup, programming, and VMC machines
- Familiarity with manual machining (mills, lathes, saws)
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Experience using precision measuring tools
- Basic math skills (fractions, decimals, conversions)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Dependable with strong work ethic
- Valid driver s license required
