Shift: 12-hour continental night shift – 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Starting Rate of Pay: $25.25
Shift Differential: $1.00/HR to start (less than 1 year); $1.25 for 1 to 3 years and $1.50 for 3+ years of service
What you will be doing- Responsible for the productive and efficient operation of the extrusion press.
- Responsible for quality and quantity of material being produced on the extrusion press.
- Responsible for monitoring and controlling the Log Furnace.
- Responsible for monitoring and operating the Log Shear.
- Responsible for monitoring and operating the Extrusion Press.
- Responsible for monitoring and operating the Extrusion Puller System.
- Responsible for the control of the Extrusion Cooling Process.
- Responsible for monitoring and operating the Extrusion Handling System.
- Responsible for the computer set‑up and monitoring of the extrusion press system.
- Responsible for quality checks of the extruded material.
- Responsible for housekeeping around the press operation area.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Must demonstrate the ability to safely lift to 100 lbs. on a repetitive basis, with a partner.
- The ability to work any shift is required.
- Minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience desirable.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in extrusion operation preferred.
- Knowledge of extrusion process and quality measures preferred.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with AS400 system a plus.
