Plant Operator – Ringgold, GA (Acetylene Production & Filling)

Open position.

Hours:

Monday – Friday, 11:00AM – 7:30PM. Plant incentive and referral bonus available.

As a Plant Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our production facility, including compressors, pumps, filling stations, forklifts, and associated equipment. You will support continuous, high‑quality gas production and cylinder filling while maintaining rigorous safety standards.

• Operate and maintain production equipment, ensuring steady supply of industrial gases.
• Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs to keep equipment in excellent condition.
• Safely handle the flow and transport of cylinders, perform filling operations, and carry out quality checks.
• Record equipment maintenance, cylinder tracking, and production activities accurately.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and participate in safety meetings and initiatives.
• Operate forklifts safely to move materials and products within the facility.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and support occasional shift changes or overtime as required.

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Experience in plant operations, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
• Technical certification in industrial operations.
• Experience with industrial gas systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Commitment to safety and ability to follow protocols.
• Comfortable operating a forklift.
• Flexibility for shift work and occasional extra hours.
