Description

Our client, a leading fabrication facility, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Weaver/Tufting Operator to join their team on the night shift. This role is crucial for the production of high-quality fabrics and textiles, involving the operation and meticulous maintenance of industrial weaving machinery. The ideal candidate will be proficient in loom setup, yarn threading, and identifying and resolving technical issues, ensuring all final products consistently meet stringent quality and design standards.

Weaver/Tufting Operator Details:

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $19.00 to $22.00 / hour
  • Full Time work available
  • Weekend work required
  • Third Shift (Sunday through Sunday from 08:00pm to 08:00am)
  • Operate and monitor industrial weaving machinery or handlooms to produce a variety of fabrics and textile products.
  • Execute precise loom setups, including warp preparation, accurate yarn threading, and tension adjustments.
  • Continuously observe machine performance, promptly identify, and troubleshoot any technical issues to minimize production downtime.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and thorough cleaning of weaving equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Conduct detailed inspections of woven products for quality, consistency, and strict adherence to design specifications.
  • Efficiently handle, organize, and prepare raw materials such as yarns and bobbins for the weaving process.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment within the fabrication facility.

Weaver/Tufting Operator

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 Years Weaving or Tufting Experience
  • Manufacturing Experience
  • Ability to work 12 hour shifts
  • Ability to work Night Shifts
  • Ability to Train on Day Shift
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
  • Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
